Hydraulic Press Upgrade

A company that uses a hydraulic press at multiple locations around the USA needed to update, upgrade, and modify its current press design. This project was considered a machine design project rather than strictly FEA, but finite element analysis was still used to complete the project. This showcases the versatility of the FEA tool because it can be performed as a standalone service and also be utilized as a tool inside of a larger project. It was used in this project to determine material specification and component geometry.
